A BRAVER YOU
She asks me is she brave. And I look at her, here. Still here, still trying after all these years. After all the ditches in which she almost died and all the nights she cracked and cried, a river. Am I brave, she quivers.
And I show her a mirror. Of all the she's she used to be and all the ways she fought to be free. Yes, I say, with the deepest of truth, I have never seen a braver you.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
